School Schmool is an annual social justice-oriented resource guide and academic agenda published by QPIRG Concordia and QPIRG McGill. This activist day planner exists to direct students (especially new students) towards anti-oppressive and decolonial resources, artists, activist groups and activities. The agenda itself is distributed on a pay-what-you-can basis on McGill and Concordia's campuses.
The theme we chose for this edition was Limit(less), revolving around the context of the limits we encounter while navigating our role as activists (like burnout). As the graphic designer, I translated this concept into the layout of the book by minimizing the amount of borders and rules within the agenda, as well as manipulating the typography to take on more of an organic shape - and not have it confined to a usual text box.
